After receiving three new stitches over the previous four, Jose Manuel will rest today in the Toronto Raptors game vs. The Boston Celtics. After a successful healing process and a final evaluation from his doctors, Jose Manuel plans to return to the court immediately.

Last night, Jose Manuel threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Toronto Blue Jays play against Boston Red Sox. Jose Manuel came early to the stadium to be present at the team's warm up and gave greetings to the players.

The Raptors beat Philadelphia last night with Jose Manuel playing an excellent game, 13 assists and 12 points. Jose Manuel got injured in a contact play with Elton Brand and had to receive four stitches in his eyebrow. He played in the second part but he is doubt for tomorrow's game.

Finally recovered from his ankle injury, Jose Manuel will return today to play against New York. After his injury in Detroit, José Manuel has missed the last five games, but now fully recovered; he hopes to help the team in the difficult game versus the Knicks.
